Hi all, went camping in a very remote place this weekend (9 adults & 6 kids). The heavens opened and it poured down for 12 hours non-stop. The tents leaked and we were sopping with no dry clothes. Could have been an absolute disaster BUT we put an umbrella over the fire to cook food, we all stood under a tiny gazebo with black plastic bags on, the kids kept themselves occupied in the tent and I realised that I hadn't laughed that much for a long time. The acceptance of our situation and making the most of it was an experience that I won't forget in a hurry, not to mention the bonding that took place with very dear friends. Thank you Universe, for that experience.
