Dr. Jagdish Dave, approaching his centennial birthday, was born where Gandhi spent many formative years. He attended evening prayer meetings at Gandhi's ashram starting at age 4. "I would never forget his Presence." Dr. Dave came to the U.S. as a Fulbright scholar, earning his M.A. and Ph.D. With over five decades of teaching bridging Eastern spirituality with Western academia, he pioneered research demonstrating the effectiveness of pranayama (breathwork), yoga, and mindfulness in regulating health. Now based in Arizona, Dr. Dave offers workshops on holistic wellness. He hosts interfaith meditation and devotional gatherings, and has integrated his teachings into his own life and relationships through 70+ years of marriage and supporting his children and grandchildren in well-being practices. His mission is to inspire balance, peace, and mindfulness, summed up in his prayer: "May we all find our way to walk steadily in the journey of our life."
