Enlightenment is Intimacy with All Things

 The great Dogen said "Enlightenment is intimacy with all things."  I say, Enlightenment is awakening to the awareness that everything is connected.

 Ah, yes!  Years ago, resting upon my spading fork in the garden,, a robin hopped through the corn very near to me.  As I looked on in wonder, an incredible sense began of the connectedness of this scene being one part of all life, of the surrounding universe, and all in the hands of a beneficent Being....
