Wow, seems this has been plagiarized numerous times. It sounds like Eduardo, but I can't find an original publication. Richard Carlson published, Don't sweat the small stuff" in 1996, and these paragraphs come right out of that book. He does not reference anyone else so I'm assuming its original. In any case its a nice quote.
