Gratefulness Happens Before Thinking

This is a very depressing post. In the sense that it implies only when special things happen in my environment will I be able to be grateful. For people who live in very pressing environments with very pressing issues constantly surrounding them, it seems their opportunity to be grateful is extremely limited, if they can only be inspired externally.
