Have been using a similar compass activity for the last four years in completing my annual retreat in the spirit of St. Francis De Sales, Introduction to the Devout Life, Part 5. the imagery is always helpful. As I look out my office window at winter, waning at the moment I anticipate spring, yet recognize it is not here yet in the sagebrush-steppe. Patiently waiting is a gift...
