Elizabeth Murray quit her dream job to volunteer in Monet's garden in Giverny, France. Her family thought she was mad to leave her comfortable horticulture job in California on a verbal promise for free room and board. But Elizabeth says her urge to work there was unbreakable. And she has never looked back.

Since her transatlantic leap of faith, Elizabeth has helped restored Monet's gardens and spent 25 years photographing them. Her work has traveled with Monet's paintings to eight museums, and are published annually in calendars and her book, Monet's Passion: Ideas, Inspiration, and Insights from the Painter's Gardens. 

An artist in many dimensions, Elizabeth paints, writes, and captures stunning photos of nature's gifts. In her own words, she describes how the little things inspire her: "I love beauty. I'm in love with beauty. But beauty in a broad sense. Beauty that comes to us almost like a grace. That we can see even in something that may be mundane or not considered special."

And when she's not making literal art, she's crafting beauty among people, leading workshops, keynote speaking, coaching, and assisting others to create sacred spaces of healing and renewal.

 "When I'm at my best, I'm being an open instrument," she describes. "I'm inspired, and I think I'm just there to be a channel to inspire others to be close to nature or to be close to beauty..."
