Great piece! I was at a dharma talk at Green Gulch once, and the speaker mentioned his faith in a secret conspiracy of coooperation and good. Maybe he's the author of this piece! ;)
I like the contrast with the concept of the CONspiracy in the sacred Church of the Sub-Genius where the powers that be, the 1%, the power-elite are not even fully conscious of their participation in the conspiracy to keep the distinction between the haves and the have-nots. They are working under the control of unconscious programming, automatons going through the motions of greed, propelled by scripts they cannot see.
