As the Caregiver of my husband who has Alzheimer's I find myself suddenly flying into a rage over (not the big things) but the simplest small thing. For ex., I asked him to brig me one little thing (an old opened bag of popcorn) from the kitchen - he brought the new, unopened bag which I was saving and 'to help me' he opened the new bag! Grrrrr!!!! I need to stop - take a deep breath - say a little prayer- have a little patience - and say nothing till the angry feeling passes. Wish me luck!
This Thanksgiving I should try to be more thankful for all the good things I have been given in this life and not dwell on the "bad." And I need more Patience - I should try to think about Patience and be Thankful when I am more patient!
