This reminds me a lot of Krishnamurti’s work too, but also, more recently, of Michael Singer’s “The Untethered Soul!”.
It is truly beautiful and inspiring and perhaps that’s what humanity should be aiming for – oh, wait, there is no aiming for!! 😊
At every step one can notice how tricky it is to get our mind around the conditioning that is so deeply rooted! We are always taught to aim for something – even as we aim to clear our mind of aiming…
Personally, I love the idea of living with joy and embracing every moment with gratitude. Living without judgement is so liberating.
For me, it is the larger perspective that does the trick. Expanding awareness to the mysterious universe we call our home.
I marvel at the infinity of the universe and its abundance of beauty. That is enough to feed my soul for a while. It allows me to experience oneness with everything. And everything seems so fresh and new.
Just staying open, staying aware.
But living in our current world as a radical optimist will take some practice.
I believe that everything is perfect as it is. And I believe that joy, rather than worry is the key to solving our problems. So, I guess, I am an optimist. I will not aim to become radical. But if it happens…well…it happens!! 😊
Ashika, I believe that a good way to approach this is by being kind to yourself. There is a child in each one of us and it needs love and affection. Do not be so hard on yourself, do not judge yourself so harshly! Would you scold and judge a child? Talk to yourself as you would talk to a little child that is craving food. Your cravings might be rooted in past events and it will take time and patience to let them go. When you cook for yourself, cook with Light and Joy. Acknowledge the abundance and the beautiful energies in the food you are eating. Be grateful for the fact that you can feed yourself. Food is energy. Shift the negative energy into joy, into positivity. You can do it. But only with patience, love and kindness. Sending you trust and confidence. :-)
“I have what you need” is just one of the expressions of the paradigm of division dominating our society. Perhaps it is time to replace it with “We are one. The universe is our home and we all have what we need.”
The awareness of Oneness, manifesting through kindness and solidarity, is the key for a new era for humanity.
As long as we see ourselves as separate, imperfect beings, we remain trapped into the paradigm of need. When we believe that we need something we unconsciously define ourselves as not enough. From craving to disappointment to more craving and more disappointment we run around chasing shadows, trapped into unhappiness land.
We can live joyfully. We can let go of illusion and embrace the joy of being. Being is a miracle. Being you is an extraordinary opportunity. You are enough. You are so much more than enough.
You – We …are infinite beings – one with the abundant universe that expresses through us.
Let’s leave behind those shadows and live every day in celebration of Life. :-)
