This article makes my day.
Emptiness and compassion do go hand in hand for me... any presence of emotion, be it anger or joy brings in elevated sense of response whereas when there is shunyata there is uniform sense of compassion towards all.
Seeing truth the way it is... is a return journey ... to be childlike again... to shun the teachings .. to self learn... for me.
It also frees me in certain ways.
Beautiful. Reverence towards life's gifts has been natural to me. I realize, I am blessed to be gifted (not in terms of material, certainly) and therefore reverence.
When you live in a relationship which is non-receptive, long enough...you eventually grow non reactive and be conscious, for this natural process of knowing although you do pay a heavy price of living in a dead relationship.
Beauty certainly pulls me towards it.
