This poetic rendition of a life lived, or even less lived, is one that resonates to the souls of they whom question if they had made a difference in their lives and the lives of those closest to them. When the vision that reflects from the mirror is not recognizable, nor undisguisable, it then will be what one of the commenters below, Shane K. Floyd, Ph.D., mentioned, "a time marked by genuine self-introspection." Moreover, if you cannot look in the mirror and like what you see then I would be inclined to agree with Bill Parcels, that, "you have cheated the person in the glass" but it is not too late to make a change.
