It is terribly difficult to laugh when one passes through a bad and awful phase of life. This is rarest of rare quality one can possess and I think it is possible only with extra-ordinary people like Dalai Lama. For a common man, if he does not pass on his cries to his friends and family and is just able to cope up, bear with and contain the problems to himself, he can be considered to be a laugher.
A wonderful story. To have peace inside one should not allow struggle inside in between two wolves. But the good has to be fed more so that the evil is not able to raise his head. Good and evil can not be fed equally and can not be made equally strong lest the evil attacks and wins at slightest opportunity.
It is difficult but a matter of practice. One needs to be internally driven to counter the toxic comments affecting the balance of feelings negatively at the end of the day. Those who are externally driven will always be in distress and have loss of emotional economy. But I must admit, very difficult to be internally driven.
It is really pleasant to go through the writing of Rick.Living from the heart very truly means "be guided by heart in every thing you do". All your deeds should be governed by compassion, care, concern, fellow feelings and empathy which is the essence of the heart.

It is a universal law '' what you give , you get back.'' A proven fact that giving is like shouting in a valley, the echo of the sound you create there is back in multiples.
To shed ego is a difficult task as it is a natural and subtle ingredient of every one's personality. It requires incessant effort and undying will with conscious denials as written by John. Ego comes and hits you time and again and you will not even come to know about it.
