I love the idea of large meditation walks and mass peace meditations. This is merging spirituality with politics and giving a true meaning to demonstrations! I do agree that peace starts with us. Looking at the world today, I have to ask if this is enough to get our world leaders to think of and act in peace. It seems the whole paradigm has to shift.
So helpful! Especially about listening. I always feel love is the way and your steps in this love way are important. I especially want to remember to listen with compassion as I soon have a challenging discussion in may family. Many thanks! Peace to you.
Just wanted to say how much the reading today moved me. I do believe we need love to turn our world around towards life, not destruction. I know it is important for me myself to live love as fully as I can. How to get the leaders of the world to sit by themselves and each other, to listen to their hearts and each others with love and not fear or dominant aggession.? What can the normal person do to bring love to the leasers?
So good to read! Many thanks! Thinking also of the farmer who needs to work with nature, be patient, hard working and hope nature will work with him. This also takes equanimity! Maybe a mixture of determination and the kind the doctor needs, accepting everything will not go in his/her way. My grandfather was a rancher, then farmer in eastern Washington. I really admire him for all he had to do and endure!
