"One word frees us of all the weight and pain of life: that word is love."
Sophocles
Unconditional love is like the love a mother has for her child, no matter how the child reacts or responds, the child is always loved the same.
Great reading, when someone listed to me for the first time in my life, it changed my life forever.
Most of us don't feel that we are "heard". There is a difference b/w when you speak and someone listens through their ears or with their ears, heart and soul. :-)
Learning to forgive is so hard but I only realized how important it is to forgive when I needed for-give-ness for something I have done; and when someone forgave me, that's when I realize how important it is to forgive. That feeling is incredible, it's like getting a second chance at life and allowing me to be a human; Not perfect but somone on a path of learning.
There are many times when people have been so generous to me and that has made me realize how important it is to forgive others and self.
Forgiving is a STRENGTH. It relieves you from a lot of negative energy and brings internal joy, peace and positive outlook.
This article reminds me of what Somik had shared with me: "Pain is not under your control, suffering is. Pain is a condition, but suffering is a decision. The starting point of dealing with pain is to accept it." Pain can be both mental or physical.
Wow, this is so simple yet profound! It makes sense and I loved every word of it. It served as a great reminder for me today and going forward how much power our thoughts really do have and it has inspired me to be more observant of my thoughts.
Thank you for taking the time to bring this passage to all of us!

The Sun Shines On Everyone, it makes no choices. As it shines naturally, it ends up giving to so many people. Giving is like that, you just give without differentiation and without thinking that you are giving or expecting. Love this from the Talk on Gita by Vinoba Bhave:
