In my life there have been times where I had deep friendships that felt like they were leading to go deeper, yet when I walked onto that territory I was firmly rebuffed, I misread signs, was not paying attention. Those moments lead to the end of friendships which I mourn from time to time yet also know that I have to keep moving forward and not wall myself off from the world. So I awaken this morning, taking another step into the world.
I sit here in the unemployment office , I feel lost in this place, it's been more than 30 years since I have not had a job, so I'm looking for one, I keep breathing, grounding and know we are all in this boat together.

Perfect day, perfect time. It seems to me so many are chasing ghosts of who we were or could have been, and knowing? that we can never be that, chasing it pushes it furtheraway. These days are just like you and me, one we are just not able to know it, it is impossible to see our oneness because it is too big for us to take it all in, yet, when we close our eyes, with no words, no expectations we can know the truth.
Thank you for this reminder. We are all being told we need to isolate, stay away from others. At my work I work with the public, I see so may taking evasive actions when they/we see another walking towards us and we quickly look for a way, a direction to avoid them, yes I understand the distancing, can we take the distance and share a hello or a smile or an acknowledgement of our fears? I want us to remember we are here in this moment to take care of each other, to support each other in whatever way we feel is appropriate.
Take care of ourselves too, because if we are not feeling willing, strong and able we will not have anything to give to our brothers and sisters. Rest, eat healthy foods, spend time in prayer/meditation and we will move forward in this challenge. Do what is right for ourselves and don't forget our neighbors.
Community.
